Job summary

GameStop is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations. You will lead a team to deliver outstanding guest service, promote the store’s sales initiatives, and ensure an inviting environment that is easy to shop.

You will train and supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders, fostering a customer-focused culture in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong communication, retail experience, and a passion for gaming.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior retail management experience preferred.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of video games a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, assist with gaming needs, inform about promotions, and process transactions with accuracy.
• Supervise Sales Associates in absence of Store Manager and support training.
• Ensure store is clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines; manage inventory and loss prevention as needed.
• Uphold company policies and promote guest loyalty through exceptional service.
