Job summary

GameStop Corp. is seeking a Store Manager to oversee store operations and drive sales while delivering outstanding guest experiences. You will lead a retail team, manage schedules, and ensure accurate POS transactions and loss prevention across a multiunit scope.

The role requires strong leadership, customer service, and merchandising skills, with a focus on driving loyalty programs and meeting sales targets in a fast-paced gaming retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multiunit capacity to manage and lead operations.
• Provide and model best-in-class guest service and engage with guests.
• Support the store environment, merchandising, and initiatives to drive sales and loyalty.
• Process guest transactions accurately using the POS system and handle refunds when needed.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and develop associates to maintain a strong team.
• Ensure onboarding and training prior to shifts and adherence to policies.
• Schedule staff and manage payroll and breaks to meet guest demand.
• Protect company assets via inventory control and loss prevention practices.
• Lead the store team to achieve sales, profit, and shrink goals; complete administrative duties.
