Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Alabama LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise, supervise associates, and ensure a safe, clean environment while delivering outstanding service to customers in a busy retail setting.

This role requires strong communication, problem solving, and the ability to lift and move stock as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as part of shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and report store activity as required.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional materials.
