Job summary

You will help supervise associates, ensure a safe and welcoming environment, and maintain the sales floor and stockroom according to company standards. This role requires strong communication, ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and experience in retail management or a similar setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and manage payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards and protect assets.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates and ensure a safe, friendly environment.
• Keep store clean and presentable, including bathrooms and floors; support loss prevention.
