Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and address questions.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and communications.
• Maintain fixtures, displays, and promotional materials.
• Help with ordering, damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized.
• Protect store assets, including cash.
• Enforce policies and safety guidelines.
• Assist Store Manager in supervising and developing associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, friendly environment for customers and staff.
• Keep bathrooms clean and restocked; sweep/mop floors; take out trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
