Job summary

Golden Goose in Austin is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences at our Austin The Domain location. You will lead a frontline team, coach staff, and ensure brand standards.

You will implement sales strategies, supervise daily operations, and nurture clienteling with CRM tools while upholding SOPs, health and safety rules, and brand heritage in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Fluency in local language preferred.
• Sales background in retail or similar environment.
• Minimum of 3 years management experience in retail.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Problem solver able to evaluate solutions and make decisions.
• Team player who collaborates to reach goals.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Willingness to work varied hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to travel for specific mission or support.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Store Manager to achieve sales objectives and drive Omni channel sales.
• Guide the team to achieve commercial targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participate in the sales process with detailed product information and up-selling/cross-selling.
• Enhance customer relationships through personalized experiences and CRM activation.
• Coordinate clienteling activities with the CRM department.
• Represent the brand’s vision and heritage to colleagues and clients.
• Contribute to store presentation and maintain brand image standards to boost sales.
• Support training follow-up on brand, products, operations and soft skills.
• Ensure staff are groomed, welcoming, and knowledgeable about products and brand identity.
• Assist with staffing decisions to meet company standards for skills and experience.
• Supervise store activities and ensure SOP compliance and operational efficiency.
• Adhere to corporate rules, governance, compliance and Health & Safety policies.
• Ensure stock/backroom is properly managed, with goods receiving, transfers, stock takes and reporting.
• Adopt IT and digital tools and train staff accordingly.
