Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, supervise associates, and help ensure a clean, well-organized store environment.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, merchandising, payroll and scheduling records, loss prevention, and upholding corporate policies while delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Adhere to policies and procedures; ensure associates follow company guidelines.
