Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help manage daily store operations, support customer service, and develop the store team. You will assist with opening/closing, merchandise flow, and ensuring health and safety standards are met.

The role emphasizes frontline leadership, loss prevention, and maintaining an inviting shopping environment while delivering strong execution of corporate directives and store policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical duties as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional displays and store-front fixtures.
