Job summary

RiseMe is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, service customers, and develop the team in a fast-paced retail setting. You will assist with daily functions, merchandise handling, and loss prevention, while ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

This role requires strong communication, the ability to lead a team, and adherence to company policies. Part-time hours and on-site work at the Lake View location are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform repeatedly while walking, standing, bending, climbing, and pulling
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
• Exceptional customer service, organizational and communication skills required
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills required

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process corporate directives related to store activities
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of storefront fixtures and displays
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping and loss prevention
• Maintain clean and organized store and stockroom to company standards
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and ensure associates follow procedures
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, restrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation
• Other duties as assigned*
