Job summary

RiseMe in Woodbridge, VA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, support associates, and help ensure merchandise is stocked and presented according to company standards.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as part of the role.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas to company standards and ensure cleanliness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and handling payroll/scheduling/cash deposits.
• Support Store Manager in training and development of Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
