Job summary

RiseMe in Elizabethtown, PA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and support opening and closing procedures.

The role emphasizes leading Store Associates, maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment, ensuring policy compliance, and keeping stockrooms well organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling tasks
• Maintain promotional fixtures and store presentation
• Ensure store areas are well-stocked and organized
• Train and develop Store Associates
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Adhere to store policies and safety guidelines
