Job summary

RiseMe in Charleston, WV is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with opening and closing procedures, supervise store associates, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and a hands-on leadership style in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery or drug store is advantageous.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Team leadership and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with opening and closing procedures and daily store activities.
• Support customer service and address questions or concerns from customers.
• Help organize, transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Support store manager in training and development of associates.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked floors and organized stockroom.
