Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development at our Colorado location. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and help manage opening/closing procedures while ensuring policies are followed.

The role requires strong communication and leadership abilities, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store fixtures and displays for promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll and scheduling, and cash handling.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and stocked to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Support Store Manager in training and development of Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
