Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Colorado to help operate daily functions, deliver strong customer service, and develop store teams. The role focuses on merchandise handling, safety, and efficient store performance in a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities include supervising cash handling, payroll tasks, and training associates while maintaining a positive customer experience and a well-organized sales floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Strong communication and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and payroll/scheduling tasks; support loss prevention.
• Keep store areas well-stocked and organized to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures and ensure staff compliance.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store and restrooms.
