FirstCash Holdings, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily operations and foster a customer-centric environment. You will partner with the Store Manager to lead staff, recruit top talent, and drive profitability while delivering excellent customer service.

This role offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity and a store-performance bonus; flexibility for a retail schedule, including weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience supervising others is preferred.
• Cash handling experience is required.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in a friendly, professional manner and address issues.
• Monitor training of Pawnbrokers to FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent through company channels.
• Open/close the store, count cash drawers, protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and safety procedures.
• Administer store processes: inventory, loans, merchandising, reporting.
• Analyze store financial statements to drive profitability.
• Meet or exceed FirstCash operating standards.
• Oversee loan qualification and buying processes.
• Complete tasks and training for self-development.
• Communicate store mission and profit objectives clearly.
• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge.
• Act as manager on duty in the absence of Store Manager.
