Job summary

TMX Finance Family of Companies is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Phoenix to coach Customer Service Representatives, develop supervisory skills, and drive store performance in a fast-paced environment.

You will educate customers during the loan or pawn process, manage appointments, and nurture relationships to grow business while maintaining compliance and profitability. This role requires a full-time schedule and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ months of experience in a key holder, supervisory, or leadership role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with POS, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated).
• Must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama).
• Ability to pass a criminal background check including motor vehicle report and other checks.
• Physical ability to stay in a stationary position, move around, and operate a keyboard.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop Customer Service Representatives to improve team performance.
• Educate customers during the loan or pawn process and make financial recommendations.
• Accept payments, monitor, and manage customer appointments.
• Meet company performance standards by leveraging partnerships and hosting events.
• Develop customer relationships to build new business and maintain store profitability.
• Provide support and development to staff to improve team potential.
• Maintain customer information in the POS system with accuracy and integrity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal laws.
• Utilize personal vehicle to complete deposits and company business.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks to meet targets.
• Communicate effectively with customers and Team Members.
