Job summary

TMX Finance Family of Companies in Tyler, TX is seeking a General Manager to lead store performance, coach the team, and deliver the white-glove customer experience our customers expect.

You will drive sales by promoting loan and pawn products, manage store operations and security, and ensure compliance with company policies and state laws.

This full-time role requires in-person attendance, weekend hours, and a track record of supervisory success in retail or financial services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of supervisory or leadership experience in retail, financial, customer service, or related industries.
• Operations experience in a leadership capacity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated).
• Ability to operate phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
• Background check required and conducted in accordance with applicable law.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of this position (standing, moving up to 25 pounds, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Oversee, coach, and develop store team members to grow new business and profitability.
• Train staff on systems, policies, compliance, account management, recovery, and performance reporting.
• Manage store performance to meet KPIs and analyze performance reports.
• Lead sales efforts to extend loan or pawn products and build local partnerships.
• Ensure cash handling and loss prevention through proper procedures.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
