Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc., headquartered in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Grand Rapids to be a front-line brand ambassador for Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store. You will ensure outstanding customer service, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.

You will supervise daily sales activities, handle cash, perform customer verifications, and coordinate with store leadership to meet goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work autonomously.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Ability to uphold core values of accountability, inclusivity, transparency, and focus.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on product portfolio and options to meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to store leadership when necessary and communicate with corporate as needed.
• Answer phone inquiries and process customer applications or requests.
• Perform outbound sales, courtesy, and collection calls in compliance with regulations.
• Respond professionally, explaining solutions to keep customers supported and valued.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and diffuse complaints.
• Handle currency and perform cash drawer management, deposits, and bank pickups as required.
• Balance receipts with sales reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct customer verifications and process transactions including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend.
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies; complete trainings timely.
• Other duties as assigned.
