Job summary

Athleta in Los Gatos, CA is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the store tone, coach Leads, Experts, and Brand Associates, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience through sales, service, and daily operations.

You will partner with the General Manager to implement the store strategy, drive profitable growth, recruit and develop a high-performing team, and ensure merchandising and omni-channel initiatives are executed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and coaching skills to develop team.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies to drive store sales with a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand and understand the competition and retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
