Job summary

Rag & Bone is seeking an Assistant Manager in Boston to lead store operations, elevate the client experience, and develop a high-performing team. You will coach supervisors and staff, manage payroll and scheduling, and partner with Visual Merchandising to optimize displays based on customer trends.

Required are 5+ years in specialty retail with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. The role offers opportunities for incentive programs and total rewards aligned with the Rag & Bone culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of prior work experience in specialty retail with 1+ years in a management role

Responsibilities

• Display best-in-class customer service techniques, build customer loyalty through clienteling standards and sales interactions; ensure staff on duty do the same
• Train staff on all store operations tasks from register to stock room
• Maintain cash handling and register procedures
• Ensure payroll procedures and store scheduling integrity
• Delegate to ensure efficiency of store operations and develop team members
• Coach and develop retail associates to meet store goals
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, training and development of all staff
• Identify, create and manage store business plans to drive performance and opportunities
• Analyze sales reports and data to set strategies and achieve goals
• Build customer loyalty and manage clientele
• Maintain product knowledge and relay it to staff
• Encourage and recognize opportunities for team selling
• Understand and exemplify rag & bone brand philosophy
• Collaborate with Visual Merchandising and Buying to advise on assortment and displays
• Model and teach store associates to support a positive client-centric environment
• Contribute to a positive, fun, professional, productive, team-oriented store atmosphere
