Job Description
Imagine using your automotive or customer service expertise with both wholesale and retail customers daily, serving as a leader to your teammates, and helping NAPA become the dominant parts supplier in the market. Responsibilities
- Create a superior customer service experience to achieve maximum market penetration, drive store growth, and increase sales and profitability.
- Provide daily leadership and foster a culture of employee engagement.
- Partner with teammates to drive store initiatives.
- Care about people and profit.
- Support learning and career growth opportunities.
- Lead a successful team, support the store manager, and manage store operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage inventory, safety, and operational issues.
- Ensure cleanliness and readiness of delivery vehicles, sales floor, stock room, and outside areas.
- Drive operational and marketing programs, aiming for continuous improvement.
- Build customer relationships, assist with sales and service questions, and ensure positive experiences both in-store and over the phone.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school courses or degree preferred.
- Experience in the automotive aftermarket, hobby/DIY, or willingness to learn automotive topics.
- Passion for customer care and building long-term relationships.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Knowledge of cataloging and inventory management systems.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs.
- Preferred: automotive industry background, experience in parts retail, auto body, or management roles, ASE certifications, NAPA Know How.
