Position Overview: As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting in daily store operations, maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork under the guidance of the Store Manager.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers positively; answer questions and resolve concerns.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store environment.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates on operating practices and procedures.
• Assist in unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring goods from stockroom to store.
• Support ordering, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Participate in loss prevention efforts.
• Take on management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Experience in retail, grocery, or drug store management preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 lbs, and perform physical activities such as walking, standing, stooping, and climbing.
• Flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills in customer service, organization, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
