This position is responsible for maintaining a high-energy, positive environment, demonstrating behaviors that support client-centric service, driving store performance, fostering superior client service, and maintaining operational excellence to meet or exceed productivity goals. The Assistant Store Manager manages and supervises the Makery, leads by example, and fosters a sense of urgency to achieve objectives while holding the team accountable for delivering an exceptional client experience.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the Makery in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in all company operations, including creating a client-centric experience, meeting sales expectations, and creating quality products.
• Maintain a professional and clean Makery environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for team members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve performance.
• Manage stock of raw materials, finished products, and supplies.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other managerial functions.
• Assist the Store Manager in controlling revenue and expenses.
• Work nights and weekends as required.
• Expected to work five days per week, approximately 35 hours depending on hourly or salary status.

Experience:

• College education preferred but not required.
• Management and/or sales experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills at all levels.
• Skilled trainer, motivator, with leadership qualities.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Not sensitive to scents and fragrances.
• Dexterity of hands and fingers.
• Ability to lift or assist in lifting items up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform cleaning functions like dusting, sweeping, mopping, etc.
