Job Description

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager team in creating the Rally House Retail Party Customer Experience. They lead in areas of customer service, visual presentation standards, receiving and inventory, payroll, and operation expenses to achieve store goals. They coach and develop team members on Rally House party culture and provide daily direction and follow-up to Team Sales Leads, Receiving and Inventory Specialists, and Sales Associates. This position oversees keeping the store staff on task to complete daily projects. The Assistant Store Manager leads interaction with guests while managing the productivity of the team. This position maintains an enthusiastic attitude, is detail-oriented, and is a sports fan. It is ideal for individuals who aspire to transition into managerial positions in the future.

Responsibilities

1. Staffing: shift management, leading others
2. Customer service: ensuring the customer remains the top priority
3. Delivery of Results: inventory control, selling strategies
4. Merchandising: meeting Rally House visual standards; floor moves and merchandising; organizing, game-planning, and execution

Skills and Knowledge

Ability to lead others, communicate clearly and confidently, detail-oriented, enthusiastic attitude, functional skills to use digital devices and online applications, growth mindset, outgoing personality.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in clothing retail; minimum 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role coaching others; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred; sports enthusiast preferred.

Physical requirements include standing and walking; talking or hearing in person and by telephone; using hands to handle objects; reaching with hands and arms; differentiating colors. Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work around fixed equipment and ladders is also required.

Compensation: $17.00 - $22.00 hourly.
