Right now, our Bonney Lake, WA store is seeking a Full Time Assistant Store Manager!

Hourly Rate: $19.71 Per Hour

Position Summary: Assistant Store Managers have direct supervision of all retail supervisors, and hourly staff who have access to the vault and/or registers. They are responsible for the overall supervision of the store on a day-to-day basis to meet the needs of the store and its customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all opening and closing procedures and responsibilities.
• Maintain store audits at or above an acceptable level.
• Maintain LP (Loss Prevention) audits at an acceptable level.
• Lead the semi-annual inventory process.
• Monitor all safety procedures and ensure cash handling procedures are followed per policy.
• Manage supplies and ordering to maintain store operations while adhering to budget for monthly and yearly reports.
• Ensure payroll expenses are within budgeted parameters.
• Delegate work appropriately among employees.
• Keep wage requests and payroll timekeeping up to date for all employees.
• Handle employee reimbursements, petty cash, and travel expenses.
• Ensure proper maintenance of the building and follow up on maintenance requests.
• Ensure security and safety systems are operational, including locks, alarms, bank deposits, refunds, vouchers, and incident reports.

Full Cycle Hiring

• Participate actively in interviewing and onboarding new employees following Goodwill's hiring processes.

Loss Prevention

• Serve as the security "captain" for the location, working with management and Loss Prevention to protect assets from theft.

Customer Service

• Provide exceptional customer service to diverse customers.
