This position offers a pay range of $19.37/hr - $43.16/hr, based on skills and experience. Additional compensation may include an annual bonus.

About the Role

As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll enhance Total Wine & More's brand by delivering exceptional customer service and creating a distinctive environment of wine, beer, & spirits. You will support sales, service, and operational goals, reporting to the Store Manager, and help foster a sales and service culture to expand our customer base and profitability.

Responsibilities

1. Focus on customer experience, brand, and loyalty by building community relationships.
2. Create a sales-driven environment through team development.
3. Encourage creative thinking and risk-taking.
4. Participate in product training and coach team members.
5. Manage store operations, merchandising, staffing, and training.
6. Maintain inventory, handle product ordering, and manage vendor relations.
7. Engage in performance management and career development discussions.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• At least 2 years of retail sales, customer service, or hospitality management experience, preferably in a big box environment.
• Experience leading and motivating sales teams.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
• Associate's Degree or relevant experience; a 4-year degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
• Team-oriented with collaborative skills.

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
