Job summary

7-Eleven in Tennessee is hiring a Retail Assistant Manager to join a store leadership team. You will be involved in training, coaching, and promoting from within, while supporting daily store operations and customer service excellence.

The role offers full-time hours with a focus on leadership development, merchandising execution, and strong customer engagement. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership alongside the Store Leader.
• Identify qualified applicants, develop leaders, and maintain retention.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Handle cash, fuel transactions, and promote loyalty programs.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment following health and sanitation procedures.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel; possess a valid driver's license.
• HS diploma or GED preferred, retail management exp. is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer service operations and coaching with the Store Leader.
• Train staff, monitor retention, and develop leadership at store level.
• Execute merchandising and promotional campaigns across the store.
• Run cash, fuel transactions, and loyalty program promotions.
