Kate Spade New York in Norfolk, VA is seeking an Assistant Store Leader to partner with the Store Leader in driving store productivity and profitability. You will lead a client-focused team, elevate service, and manage omni-channel initiatives including live streaming and clienteling to nurture loyalty.

You will recruit and coach staff, monitor KPIs, and ensure brand standards while partnering with corporate teams to craft sales strategies and maintain exceptional store presentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail management experience in fashion/lifestyle or similar environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience with retail systems.

Responsibilities

• Model Kate Spade service behaviors and selling standards; lead a high-energy, client-focused environment.
• Drive omni-channel and virtual selling; ensure clienteling through client books and loyalty programs.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop diverse talent; set goals, review KPIs, coach to results.
• Own store sales plans and forecasts; partner with corporate teams to optimize strategies.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling, payroll budgeting, and loss prevention.
