Qualifications

• One year of coaching or playing experience at the high school or collegiate level.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field as listed in the qualifications.
• Two years of college coaching experience (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability as a positive role model to student-athletes.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach to meet the needs of the position.
• Instruct student athletes regarding rules of the sport, changes, and new developments.
• Help recruit academically and athletically qualified student athletes.
• Observe and evaluate student athletes in training and competition; help develop coaching plans.
• Monitor academic performance to ensure compliance with NJCAA rules.
• Collaborate on fundraising with Athletics staff.
• Assist with game day management.
• Develop scouting reports for opponents.
• Ensure compliance with NJCAA and JUCO rules.
• Maintain CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Head Coach and Athletics leadership.
