Job summary

County College of Morris in Randolph Township, NJ, is seeking an Assistant Coach to support the Head Coach in organizing and coaching all aspects of the team, including pre-season training, practice preparation, and post-season activities.

The role requires assisting with scheduling, travel arrangements, and representation at athletic department events, while also serving as a Campus Security Authority and participating in weekend and occasional overnight contests as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with competitive coaching or playing; college level preferred.
• AED and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach with pre-season and in-season practices and game prep.
• Represent the program at CCM Open Houses, coaches’ meetings, and department functions.
• Work weekends and some overnight games; possible national tournaments.
• Serve as Campus Security Authority reporting safety incidents to Public Safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
