Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead a fast-paced service team in a retail automotive environment. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and customer experience, stepping in as Manager on Duty when needed.

We provide paid hands-on training, opportunities for advancement, and a friendly, performance‑driven culture. Automotive experience is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Complete our Certified Technician training.
• Serve as Manager on Duty and coordinate workflow.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and respond to customer needs.
• Ensure services are completed accurately and safely while reinforcing procedures.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching.
• Assist with daily inventory and shop communications.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
