Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager with PAID TRAINING to lead day-to-day shop operations and support the Shop Manager. We welcome friendly, energetic individuals from diverse backgrounds and offer a clear path from Crew Member to Shop Manager as you grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is valued but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and process payments for services performed.
• Assume the responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager in the Shop Manager’s absence.
• Run the floor to ensure staff coverage and customer satisfaction.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with counting and adjusting inventory.
• Train new employees to fulfill duties in the Take 5 way.
• Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other light auto services.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness.
