Take 5 Oil Change in Houston is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead daily operations and ensure top customer service. Paid training is provided to learn the Take 5 way, with opportunities to advance from Crew to Shop Manager as you gain experience.

The role emphasizes reliability, leadership, and hands-on maintenance tasks, offering an opportunity to grow within a fast-paced environment and earn hourly pay plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience is valued but not required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work in hot/cold weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and process payments for services performed.
• Assume the responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager in the Shop Manager’s absence.
• Run the floor and ensure each employee is where they need to be and customers are satisfied.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with counting and adjusting inventory.
• Train new employees to fulfill duties in the Take 5 way.
• Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other auto services as necessary.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness.
