Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support daily operations, mentor teammates, and step in as Manager on Duty to keep the shop safe, efficient, and customer-focused.

We provide paid hands-on training and value automotive experience, though it is not required. This role offers clear growth paths from technician roles to leadership within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following safety and policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed to coordinate workflow and service delivery.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Ensure services are completed accurately while reinforcing safety and company standards.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
