Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead on the shop floor, support daily operations, team development, and deliver a fast, friendly customer experience. You’ll step in as Manager on Duty when needed, helping the team stay focused while keeping the shop safe and efficient.

We provide paid hands-on training to teach the technical skills and service standards. Automotive experience is valued but not required, and there are clear opportunities to advance from shop roles into

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading or mentoring others.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety policies.
• Strong communication skills for directing and coaching.
• Reliable transportation to and from your work location.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow and act as Manager on Duty.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and resolve issues professionally.
• Ensure services are completed accurately with safety standards.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching.
• Assist with daily inventory and opening/closing procedures.
• Support shop communication and reporting.
