Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to support daily operations, develop the team, and ensure fast, friendly customer experiences. You may step in as Manager on Duty and help keep the shop safe, efficient, and running smoothly.

Paid, hands-on training is provided, with automotive experience valued but not required. Join a fast-paced environment with opportunities for advancement through internal promotions and a structured growth path from technician roles to leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety policies.
• Strong communication skills and comfort providing direction, coaching, and feedback to team members.
• Reliable transportation to and from your work location.
• Ability to meet applicable age and certification requirements.

Responsabilités

• Lead and assist Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Step in as Manager on Duty as needed to oversee workflow and safety.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure services are completed accurately while reinforcing procedures and safety standards.
• Support shop performance by identifying improvement opportunities and taking on leadership tasks when needed.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Perform Certified Technician responsibilities and lead technician duties.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and adjustments.
• Support shop communication, reporting, and follow-up.
