Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and delivering a fast, friendly customer experience while the Manager on Duty steps in when needed.

We provide paid, hands-on training to teach the Take 5 way. Automotive experience is valued, but not required, and we offer growth opportunities from shop roles into leadership based on performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and fast, friendly customer experience.
• Step in as Manager on Duty when needed, helping the team stay focused while keeping the shop safe and efficient.
• Train new team members, provide real-time coaching, reinforce expectations, and recognize strong performance.
• Perform Certified Technician and Lead Technician responsibilities as required.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and daily inventory counts.
