Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is looking for an Assistant Shop Manager who will support daily operations, lead a fast-paced team, and help drive a positive customer experience. You’ll step in as Manager on Duty as needed, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high-quality service.

Paid hands-on training is provided to teach Take 5 standards and processes. Automotive experience is valued but not required, with opportunities to grow into leadership roles through performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following facility and safety policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to give direction and feedback to team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed and coordinate workflow to ensure safe, efficient service.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and respond to customer needs.
• Ensure services are completed accurately while reinforcing procedures and safety requirements.
• Support shop performance by identifying opportunities for improvement and taking on leadership duties when Manager is unavailable.
• Train new team members and provide coaching and feedback.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and adjustments.
• Support shop communication, reporting, and follow-up.
