Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager in Ohio to help lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You’ll support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and delivering a quick, friendly customer experience while upholding safety and quality standards.

We provide hands-on training to teach skills, with a pathway from technician to leadership. The role offers competitive hourly pay plus bonus opportunities and full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Lead as Manager on Duty when needed and ensure safe, efficient service.
• Model friendly customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Ensure services are completed correctly and follow standards.
• Identify improvement opportunities and take on leadership tasks.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching.
• Perform Certified Technician and Lead Technician duties.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and inventory tasks.
• Assist with shop communications and follow-up.
