Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager to help lead a fast-paced automotive service team. You’ll support the Shop Manager with daily operations, develop the team, and ensure a safe, efficient, and friendly customer experience on the shop floor.

Paid hands-on training is provided, automotive experience is valued but not required, and there are clear paths to grow from technician roles into leadership with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
• Commitment to following facility and safety policies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide direction, coaching, and feedback.
• Accountability and follow-through on responsibilities.
• Ability to stay calm and organized during busy periods.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Meet age and certification requirements, including Inspector Certification when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations as Assistant Shop Manager and support the Shop Manager.
• Coordinate workflow and ensure safe, efficient, high-quality service.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and resolve concerns.
• Train and coach new team members and provide feedback.
• Assist with inventory counts and shop reporting.
