Take 5 Oil Change seeks an Assistant Shop Manager who is career-minded, enjoys working with people, takes pride in doing things the right way, and is ready to help lead a fast-paced team.

You’ll support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and fast, friendly customer experience. Training is paid, and automotive experience is valued but not required.

This role offers growth opportunities through internal promotions and opportunities to step in as Manager on Duty as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and comfort providing direction, coaching, and feedback to team members.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening and closing procedures.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed by coordinating workflow and helping the team deliver safe, efficient, high-quality service.
• Train new team members, provide real-time coaching and feedback, reinforce expectations, and recognize strong performance.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and adjustments.
• Support shop communication, reporting, and operational follow-up.
