Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change in Ohio is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, team development, and a quick, friendly customer experience. We provide paid, hands-on training to teach the technical skills and service standards needed to succeed the Take 5 way.

Automotive experience is valued, but not required! The Nuts and Bolts of the Role include coordinating workflow as Manager on Duty, training new team

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment delivering consistent and exceptional customer service.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following and maintaining facility and safety control policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills and comfort providing direction, coaching, and feedback to team members.

Responsibilities

• Complete our Certified Technician training.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed by coordinating workflow and helping the team deliver safe, efficient, high-quality service.
• Model fast, friendly customer service, respond to customer needs, and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure services are completed accurately and consistently while reinforcing company procedures, safety requirements, and service standards.
• Train new team members, provide real-time coaching and feedback, reinforce expectations, and recognize strong performance.
