Take 5 Oil Change in Ohio is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager who will support daily operations, develop the team, and lead when the Manager on Duty is required. The role emphasizes customer service excellence, safety, and efficient shop performance.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ customer service in a fast-paced service environment.
• 6 months+ experience leading or mentoring others.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to stay organized and solutions-focused during busy periods.
• Ability to meet age/certification requirements where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support Shop Manager with daily operations and team development.
• Step in as Manager on Duty when needed to coordinate workflow.
• Provide fast, friendly customer service and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure services are completed accurately following procedures and standards.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures, inventory and reporting.
