Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to help run daily operations, develop the team, and deliver fast, friendly customer service. You will step in as Manager on Duty, coordinate workflow, and uphold safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading or mentoring others in a busy setting.
• Commitment to following facility safety and policy requirements.
• Strong communication skills and ability to direct, coach, and give feedback.
• Proactive and accountable with follow-through on responsibilities.
• Ability to stay organized and solution-focused during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead Manager on Duty by coordinating workflow and helping the team deliver safe, efficient, high-quality service.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and address customer needs professionally.
• Ensure services are completed accurately while reinforcing safety and service standards.
• Support shop performance by taking on leadership duties when the Shop Manager is unavailable.
• Train new team members and provide real-time coaching and feedback.
• Perform Certified Technician and Lead Technician responsibilities as needed.
• Complete opening and closing procedures for the shop.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and adjustments.
• Support shop communication, reporting, and operational follow-up.
