Job summary

Morgan Properties is seeking an Assistant Service Manager in Seattle to maintain our community to the highest standards and build positive relationships with residents and staff. This full-time role emphasizes leadership, accountability, and hands-on problem solving for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repairs.

You will establish 24-hour on-call coverage, organize inventories, and schedule preventive maintenance and make-readies while ensuring a safe,

Qualifications

• One-year certificate, 2-4 years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Active and valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
• HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, and mentor the maintenance team.
• Provide knowledge and troubleshooting for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structure, and appliances.
• Be accountable for establishing and preparing a 24 hour on-call schedule and be available for on-site emergencies.
• Manage and organize inventory of maintenance materials.
• Establish on-call, preventive maintenance, make ready, and work order schedules.
• Regularly inspect community buildings, including vacant units.
• Complete tasks assigned by the Service Manager.
