Job summary

Morgan Properties is hiring an Assistant Service Manager to oversee maintenance operations at our multifamily communities. The role focuses on mentoring the team, coordinating repairs, and ensuring safety and high standards for residents and staff.

You will manage on-call coverage, schedule preventive maintenance, and supervise responsibilities across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool care, carpentry, and appliance repairs while supporting the Service Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year certificate or equivalent education.
• 2-4 years related maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC/EPA/CFC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, and mentor the maintenance team.
• Provide HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general repair expertise.
• Establish and maintain a 24-hour on-call schedule.
• Manage inventory of maintenance materials.
• Plan and track preventive maintenance and work orders.
• Inspect community buildings and vacant units.
