Job summary
Company Wrench in Lakeland, FL is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to oversee the service repair shop operations at a specific branch. Reporting to the Service Branch Development Manager, you will supervise technicians, manage the Work Order process, and ensure timely, accurate quoting.
This role emphasizes safety, customer communication, and leadership to support growth and high-quality service delivery within the branch.
Qualifications
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Pass drug test and background check.
Responsibilities
- Supervise service personnel in collaboration with the Service Manager.
- Provide customers with updates on conditions, timelines, quotes and part lead times.
- Assist in developing plans to acquire new and existing service work to drive revenue.
- Help recruit, hire, and train service department staff.
- Schedule technicians for work with optimal efficiency and provide accurate quotes within 48 hours.
- Monitor Work In Progress (WIP) to limit WIP and ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure warranty procedures are followed and properly documented.
