Job summary

Bertera Nissan Auburn, MA is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to partner with the Service Manager in guiding daily service operations. You will supervise technicians and service advisors, drive high standards of quality and efficiency, and foster strong customer relationships to support service growth.

The role requires leadership, customer service expertise, and a solid understanding of automotive repair processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive service management, ideally in a dealership.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Nissan vehicles and service processes.
• Data-driven decision making.
• ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager in overseeing daily service department operations.
• Mentor service advisors and technicians, providing guidance and training.
• Collaborate to set and achieve department goals and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor orders for accuracy and timeliness; ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and address concerns.
• Analyze department metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in budgeting, inventory control, and labor utilization.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
• Stay updated on technical bulletins and service procedures.
