Morgan Properties is hiring an Assistant Service Manager to support the maintenance operation at a 96-unit community in Tallahassee. You will coach a team, solve problems, and help run a safe, well-maintained property with the backing of a national multifamily leader.

The role offers hourly pay on a schedule of Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with on-call rotations, and generous benefits including rent discounts, commissions, a quarterly allowance, and comprehensive health coverage.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of related maintenance experience or a one-year certificate plus experience.
• HVAC/EPA/CFC certification (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.

• Be the go-to expert for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior, and appliance repair.
• Build on-call, preventive maintenance, make-ready, and work order schedules.

Your Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

What You'll Do

• Lead, train, and mentor a maintenance team
• Be the go-to expert for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior, and appliance repair
• Build the on-call, preventive maintenance, make-ready, and work order schedules
• Manage maintenance inventory and supplies
• Inspect buildings and vacant units to keep standards high and the community compliant
• Partner with the Service Manager on priorities and projects
• Step up when emergencies hit, like snow, ice, or urgent on-site issues

What You Bring

• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
• 2-4 years of related experience, or a one-year certificate plus experience
• HVAC/EPA/CFC certification (preferred)
