Job summary

Hair Cuttery is seeking an Assistant Salon Manager in Illinois who will act as the right hand to the Salon Leader, guiding daily operations, coaching stylists, and ensuring a high-energy, guest-centric atmosphere behind the chair and on the floor.

You’ll mentor the team, oversee scheduling and performance, and play a key role in onboarding new talent while upholding the brand’s culture and standards.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license for the applying state.
• Full-time leadership role (40 hours per week).
• Stamina to stand for long periods and perform all salon services.
• Strong communication and basic math for inventory and cash handling.
• Bring personal equipment daily.

Responsibilities

• Lead the floor, managing appointments and ensuring guests have a premium experience.
• Coach and mentor staff using the IGROW framework to hit goals.
• Maintain cleanliness and compliance with State Board and OSHA standards.
• Support marketing efforts to drive bookings and promote the brand.
